In an ancient Maya myth, the Hero Twins, Hunaphu and Zbalanque, turned their twin brothers, Hun Batz and Hun Chuen, into monkeys by tricking them into climbing a tree in the rainforest. Hunaphu and Xbalanque made the tree rise so high from the ground that their twin brothers couldn't get down! Hun Batz and Hun Chuen were musicians, dancers and great artists.
