Chair from the Past
English artisans made
this Empire chair almost 200 years ago, probably for a
very fancy home. They worked very hard to make it a grand
chair. What makes it so fancy? It’s big, wonderfully carved, and
covered with gold. It also has silk upholstery and wheels for easy
