Fancy and Fun Chairs

Design a Fancy Chair
(30 minutes)
Design your own unique fancy chair. Use the legs, wheels, or arms to make a crazy pattern. What other wacky things can you do?

1. If you are a Mac user: Pull down the 'File' menu at the top of your screen, go to 'Page Setup', and reduce the page size to 82%. |

2. Now you’re ready to do your project. Take the papers you just printed out, gather the materials you need, and find a good place to play! |

3. Use the details – as many as you like – from Sheets #2 and #3 to create your own special chair with Sheet #1. |
 |
4. Once you’ve decided on your details, cut them out. |
 |
5. Glue the pieces to the chair. |
 |
6. Color them using your crayons. 7. Mix and match to create other cool chairs, or use Sheet #1 – and your imagination – to design your own chair! |
