Battle on a Writing Box Open this box and discover the most amazing writing tools! The 'U' shaped black stone surrounded with gold is an inkstone. The small shell tied with a gold rope is a water dropper. To make ink for writing you'd add a few drops of water to the inkstone. Then you'd rub a black inkstick (made of soot mixed with glue) on the wet stone until water turns black. You'd put your writing brushes in the tall space on the right.
